About Us (Dimitra & Rachel)
Dimitra Charalambous and Rachel Speer collectively have over 20 years of
experience as children’s Occupational Therapists. They have
worked in the NHS within children’s integrated therapies teams
as well as within mainstream and special needs schools. They
have gained invaluable knowledge in several strategies and
approaches such as Sensory Integration, Motor learning,
Backward Chaining, Sensory Ladders, Zones of Regulation, as
well as the Interoception Curriculum.
The therapists have a wide repertoire and knowledge of formal
standardised assessments as well as extensive experience in
the Annual Review process for children with Education and
Health Care Plans.
Children’s OT also have several links with other therapists who
are on hand to provide further support such as Speech and
Language Therapy and Family support.
